Here is an overview of some of my film centered work revolving around cinematic composition and storyboarding.
SKETCH RENDER STORYBOARD
28 Frames - 1 hr pen sketches, 1 hr digital color, 2 hr total - Short Film Storyboard (Sept 2024)
I typically start any drawing, composition, storyboard on paper using a ballpoint pen. This process is much faster for communicating ideas and is easier to do in front of a client.
RENDERED STORYBOARD
17 Frames - 1.5 hr/rendered frame - Star Wars "Original Story" Storyboard (Feb 2024)
To achieve the lighting I am looking for, I typically start in black and white to find a dramatic composition
THUMBNAIL STORYBOARD
112 Frames - 4 mins/sketched frame - Storyboard for upcoming short film by Alija Skomorac (Jan 2025)
This series of storyboards was sketched and colored digitally with a focus on motion and gestures
While most frames were created digitally, a few started as impromptu pen sketches on a napkin

Focus on speeding up rendering process. All frames were rendered in black and white and then color layers were added for lighting.
